Looking at buying a 10mm within next few weeks.

Comparing the following:

DW Razorback
Kimber Eclipse II
Colt Delta Elite
Glock 20 and / or 40

Main uses will be for target practice and backup side arm for hunting.  May consider handgun hunting later.

I am aware there is a big price difference between the DW to Glock 20.  But I would like to know if it's worth the upgrade.  Plus I am not a Glock fan in general.  Prefer hammer guns over striker, and also don't care for the Polymer models.  But the fact it would be out in bad weather conditions isn't lost either.

So from folks who have shot some or all, I would love their opinion....

Its easy to like ALL of your picks but if you only get one for me its the Glock 20.  If like new used does not bother you they can be had with a little patience for around $425.  I scored two for even less in the last year.  I also like it for my purpose of hunting/outdoor carry where there are no controls to mess with, just pull the trigger.  Might be harder to learn to shoot perfect targets than the others but I have other options for that duty that do not excel as a woods carry pistol.

I would pick the one that fits your hand and has a manual of arms you like. I went the Glock route but hope to add a Glock 40 and a 10 inch 10mm to my TC contender.

I agree with holding them.  Never been able to find one locally yet.  Going to big show near me on Saturday so looking for input of folks who have had them ahead of time.

I have a G20 and a G29, Colt DE, RIA 1911 and a SIG 220 all in 10mm. Whew, tough choice. The Glocks are extremely weatherproof and great shooters. The Colt and the RIA are a 1911 mode of operation and are both extremely rugged. And the Sig is awesome :)
Start with the Colt or the RIA, you'll end up with more than one anyway :)

I forgot to mention I am a huge CZ fan also...

Hence the reason the DW was at top of my list.   ;D

I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. If a Glock fits you hand well then that would be a good 1st 10mm. I like the 1911s since I have shot them for many years and can hit with them. My 2 10mm are a Colt Delta and a Kimber and am kind of looking @ a Sig 220.

So you Colt / Kimber owners.  Which do you prefer?  Why?

Not interested in a BB gun.  Thanks though as it does look cool...

Well the funny thing is I like the Colt for it's reliability and I like the Kimber because it has more features on the gun then my Delta has. But now that has change with the new Delta Elite having some of them features on them like sights, bevertail ,trigger, hammer. I like my Kimber alot but if I could only have 1 of them 2 it would be the New Colt Delta Elite.
And on another note just yesterday I shot 75 rds with 180gr hard cast bullet over 11.4 grs of Blue Dot that put me into upper 1200 fps with no problems with the gun or the brass!!

BB gun? I have no clue what you mean by that.

A witness is much more like a CZ than a Dan Wesson will ever be.

I own 4 10mm's
Sig P220
Witness Stock III
Colt Delta elite
S&W 1066

The witness is the most accurate.

I almost bought a razorback and I have no doubt they are extremely high quality, but Im glad I bought the Colt instead
The witness is a fantastic gun. I have not had the Sig very long, but I am very pleased so far. The 1066 is going back to S&W for some issues I'm having.
A witness Stock 2 or limited would most likely be next if I bought another 10mm.

Just my experience with 10mm's and my opinion

If you are a huge CZ fan, I would definitely put the Tanfoglio's on your list.  An Elite Stock is a fine firearm, and will likely be more reliable than a 1911 style 10mm across the ammunition spectrum.  I love 1911's, but my Witness guns and Glocks run circles around my 1911's.

Sorry, I did google search on it, and first hit was a BB gun.

My thinking behind buying the DW Razorback, was that it's a CZ USA product.  Financially supporting the company, that I like.

I hope to be able to get my hands on a Colt before making a decision.  So here's hoping I see one this weekend at the local gun show.
