Been eyeing a Dan Wesson Silverback as my next 1911 10mm purchase.  LGS has one.  2150.00 out the door was a little much for my recently retired allowance.  I found a blem on Gunbroker for 1529.00.  Bought it.  Should have it in a couple weeks.  This gun will be shot.  A lot.  I have bought my share of new guns that were not blems but had plenty of them.  Kind of nice to find one that is actually at a discount.

Thanks.  It does look purty.

My silverback is a "blemish" too. Doesn't bother me any. Can't even understand why they knocked $600 off the price but am glad they did! Great gun.

Should have it this weekend.  Hope to take it out next week.  Already have 600 rounds or so for break in.  What was the blem on your?

Off the top of my head it is the safety lever sits too low towards your hand when engaged. If it does I haven't minded. And there is supposedly some file mark on the left side trigger guard at the top. I don't see it.

I bought 500 rounds of the Sig FMJ ammo to break it in. Only gone through the second 50bso far. Had some feed issues the first box but only one the second box. I like mine. Just wish it didn't fling the brass with such force that they bounce forward of the shooting area where I can't recover them.
What blemish does your have? Or do you even know yet? Hopefully it is so insignificant as to not be noticible.

I do not have it yet.  FFL should get it by Friday.  I hope to have it by Saturday.
