Donald Trump boasted Tuesday that he would be a better president than Hillary Clinton for the LGBT community.

So?
That's called campaigning.
Last I saw, gays vote too.
Trump says he'd be better.
Clinton participates in a gay parade.
Twist it any way you want.
They both want their vote.

Wolfie

So?

I want a president with core principles, this lack of them is why the GOP is doomed this year.

This is the year that religion and conservatism died in national politics.

Courtesy of the GOP.

You said you would like to of voted for Clinton when he was president.  What was his core principles.  Good family man?  God fearing?  Not at all rich looking to get richer.

Wolfie

I voted for Perot in 1992 (Bush in 1988 and lost my vote with the S&L scandal) and Dole in 1996.

Today Family Values is no longer a electoral issue for me. Clinton balanced the budget and lost no US Troops in actions he initiated.

The best part is EVERYONE made cash under him.

Bill Clinton and Barack Obama would EASILY be re elected today if they were allowed to run again.

I just need to stay out of politics on the forums.  Nobody ever wins a argument or ever agrees.  Must say I am more than a little surprised to find someone with your views on a gun board though.  The people you support hate everything the people here are about and look to kill it.

This is wisdom.

This gets tough.

See, if you follow the data, countries that have low violent crime rates compared to ours (not gun crime, violent crime) also have a better GINI coefficient than we do.  In fact, violent crime and GINI coefficient pretty much go hand in hand.

Also hand in hand are GINI coefficient and social/labor programs that ensure the populace a minimum standard of living.

But, such programs fly in the face of many core convictions we gun owners favor, like "don't tread on me"

At the same time, we (as a demographic group) are plenty willing to tread on others when it comes to marriage (same gender) and healthcare (womens).

The "democrat left" is not less epileptic.  The enshrine certain civil liberties (life, speech, assembly, privacy, representation) and trample the underlying ones that perhaps matter more (arms, property).

My political journey from staunch republican passed through a bunch of cognitive dissonance before I arrived where I am today.

For me it is more simple.  Lesser of evils.  There is never a good choice as far as I am concerned.  They are all bad.  I do see what happens to me personally and my family.  The last 8 years have been the worst by far.  I know the left blames that on Bush.  What Obama did with health care will forever make our country go down hill.  I have seen it first hand.  I have several doctors who are also good friends.  They are retiring early.  One moved here from Canada to get away from what we are now moving to.  It will get very bad for us.  Did the people want this?  Did we vote for it?

This election for me is even simpler.  Trump is less likely to support gun control than Hillary.  I try not to be a single issue voter, but this year, president, I am.

So, was that before or after Clinton was getting his knob polished in the Oval Office while Hillary watched from the closet?
Oh, wait, the Ds are perfect.... just ask wolfie!
It was the Rs that bribed Monica to kneel to the prez.

See? Comedy hour via wolfie.
Funny stuff!
Keep it up.
I should open a political comedy page on Facebook and post all of wolfie's posts.
Good stuff, got any more?
You sound so knowledgeable and insightful.
It seems like you have a direct line to the White House!

Your posts just prove the old saying; Garbage in, garbage out.

Wolfie

Larry. The Democrats run on being the family values party or the stop gay marriage party?

Conservatism is dead, they let the GOP get away with running on stopping it and now doing nothing to overturn it.

Let me be very clear, there is no one here that is more conservative than I am. Anyone wishing to go toe to toe please list a issue and let's have at it.

Yup.  With you.  I also pray he will repeal Obamacare.

Wolfie

Trumps plan for Obamacare?

Tax cuts for the rich. What that means is that if you make a lot of cash you will get free health care.

Hillary's plan?  Do you really think she is not for the rich?  Look at her family history and how they got stupid rich.

Keep in mind what I said above.  I know they are all liars.  I just vote for who will do the least amount of damage to what I have left.  You seem to actually believe what you are seeing on TV.
