Glad to see others taking a look at what's being sold...I wish you would have measured the powder charge weights to see how they compare.

Here is a tip for you; when pulling with a kinetic puller try not to let the puller bounce (strike like a dead blow hammer), as the bullet gets close to dropping out of the casing, soften the strike to have it just drop out softly. 

Work over a sheet of typing paper as you pour the powder into the scale pan, that way you will see any powder which my miss the pan.  The paper can be folded slightly and pour any that was spilled.  Tapping the puller with an object can help dislodge any powder stuck inside the tube.  Also keeping the tube clean and dry helps.

A small paint brush can be used to sweep any powder which sticks to the bullet or your fingers so it all can be captured.

I have an extensive library of powder and pictures of powders and loading data to compare notes that help make powder identifications but sometimes that isn't enough...

I just got 5 boxes of S&B today from Midway USA so friday I will see how they shoot and what the Vel is on them.

Well was some what disapointed in the Vel of the S&B ammo    I took my Kimber out today and shot 5 rounds and the avg for 5 shots was 1106 fps, so that was some what under my 8gr load of Unique with a 180 gr cast @ 1180 fps. Anyway the stuff was fun to shoot it's about the same class as the Rem 10mm but 1/2 the price   So would I buy again? yes for that price @ $ 16.36 or what ever it was I will buy more when my brass supply is getting low.

5" barrel gave you 1106? That's pretty off from what some of us have seen shooting it over F1 Chrony's.

Well I will try it again, but I will shoot my Colt Delta and see what I get for Vel.

Well guy's I just got in from shooting some more S&B ammo this time through my Colt. Here is my results from my Chrono 1113, 1128, 1119, 1132, 1135, 5 shots for a avg of 1125 fps. So my Colt shot the S&B a little faster. My thoughts are if you don't reload it's good range ammo and cheap, and if you do reload and need brass it's a good way to get some    The stuff did shoot great through both of my 10s can't knock that!!

I shot some S&B 180gr FMJ today.  It was accurate, pretty clean shooting and ran 100% in my steel framed Witness.  I paid just over $15 per box.  The components would cost that much, so there's I see no reason not to start with this factory loaded ammunition.
