Grand power review

Just FYI, in case anyone missed it...Recoil mag just did a decent write up on the grand power 10mm...not bad, had some good pics🐗

I saw it at the grocery store, and skimmed the article. I'd like to shoot one, see how the rotating barrel feels.

Guess I might have to pick up that issue. I'm on a list with Henning to get a 5" Model to purchase. Have high hopes the rotating barrel slows unlocking so the brass doesn't go into the next range and helps makes the pistol more durable. Not that I'm going to shoot nuclear loads in it. The polymer frame should also make it lighter for carry. Yes, I said carry.

Just to be clear, the review is in the Recoil special edition "Concealment". The irony of buying this issue while I was, in fact, concealing a P40 was not lost on me.

I am bummed, my second favorite gun guy had three grand powers in last week, including the p40. He emailed me about the arrival, on my work email. I am employed at the University of Maine and I am on vacation, the wife made me promise to leave all work related details on the back shelf. Last night he called to tell me a holster I ordered was in. He then said how surprised he was that I had no interest in the grand power, and that it went out the door Saturday afternoon.
    Once again, my wife has found a way to prevent me from buying a gun. He ordered these in February so it may be a while but the next one has my name on it.
