Back to my 10's after a year plus lay off.

I am so happy to be reloading and shooting my 10's again.  Pretty much had parked them all in the safe due to working a lot of OT and not being able to get my go to 10 powders.  I do not like having to pay ransom prices for powder but did on a few occasions.  Had to break in a new Glock G40 I bought. That took a lot of my reloaded stock pile.  Well now I am retired and finally starting to find some Blue Dot (one of my all time favorites), Power Pistol and Longshot.  Happy days.  Been a reloading and shooting fool.  It is so nice to be back to the 10.

I'm just now needing to start replacing some powders and primers. I knew what was coming if Obummer got his second term and stockpiled everything I could afford to. I have bought 22lr at normal price but normal price for target 22's isn't the same as bulk. When my son and I shoot 500 rds of 22's is normal 1000 rds is extended and it extended more than not.

I was working up a 10mm load last week and after loading with different powders 800X and LongShot and different powder weights for both powders. I then ran them through the chronograph I came in and told my wife that was the most fun that I have had in a while with my clothes on. Enjoy yourself.

yfdcap, does that equate to Fire Dept. Captain?  The reason I ask is I'm a retired fireman and many FD guys have been using the 10mm guns...go figure!  Congrats with the new G-40 and getting back in the saddle again!

Thank you Quick2 and Shadow.  Yes, retired fire capt. 26 years.  Shadow, we have met before on a couple forums.  I'm in Yuma AZ.  You actually helped me years ago when I was just getting started reloading 10mm.  You turned me on to this forum if I remember correctly.  Good to hear from you.  Hope retirement has been good to you.  I am loving it.

I spent a couple hours reading.  Excellent work.  Valuable info.
