So does anyone else here have a favorite milder 10mm load that they want to share?

I have never used WSF or Unique before.

I have a few:

6.5 gr WSF 180 gr Powerbond
8.0 gr No. 5 180 gr Powerbond
4.5 gr 452AA 200 gr FMJ (could swap for WST)
5.4 gr 452AA 180 gr coated cast (could use WST)

WSF. Winchester Super Field. Very good for many mid-range (non-magnum) loads, shotgun or handgun. Excellent for full-power 9mm, .38Spl, .44Spl, .40SW, .45LC, .45ACP, etc.

Unique. Well, it's unique. Excellent powder for mid to low-upper range loads in just about any handgun or shotgun, and a lot of low to mid range rifle. If I were limited to only one powder for all loads, Unique would be it, .32ACP to .45-70 (and probably .50BMG, if I had one). The powder meters well, and is very forgiving.

You could try Longshot or Accurate #9 or #7 starting loads.  Maybe even reduce them a bit more.  Problem is powders tend to want a certain minimum pressure to burn well.  Which is why you often see guys going to faster powders rather than reduced charges for their "plinking" loads.

I can load Blue Dot down to 1050 to 1100 for a 180, but I will end up with lots of dirty residue and unburned powder.  And it won't make enough pressure to properly obturate lead bullets so leading becomes an issue.
