Very nice Delta Elite  :) Kind of wished that I would have held off buying mine in Dec but I still like mine alot and it's a great shooter, even with very warm loads. And it still runs better then my Kimber!!

Question about rear (and front too) sights:
Does new CDE has tritium sights?

Or it just new-fashioned sights with white dots!

Sights are not tritium.

I just picked one up yesterday. Slide to frame fit is tight. No ramped barrel
In 2017. Although the gun was probably made in 2016 due to the traditional roll marks. I'm very pleased.

I have a new 2016 DE. Everyone needs to stop worrying about the non-ramped barrel. I've been shooting Underwood 165gr thru 200gr through my DE and the brass looks better that what comes out of my Glock 20 with KKM barrel and 22lb spring. About 300rds of Underwood ammo total. The brass show no signs of excessive pressure at all. I spoke to Kevin at Underwood and he said all of their loadings are safe for the DE now. They changed their powder blends. If you need more power than Underwood you should consider a .44 magnum. I keep Underwood 180gr Gold Dots in my DE for self defense and plink with the S&B and Armscor for about $0.28 a round. The new DE is a well made 1911, colt's done a nice job, just with they were Novak night sight. Will be swapping in a set.

I agree, this non ramp barrel thing along with the frames cracking on the older Deltas is really being over played ::) The Colt Delta Elite is as fine of a 10mm 1911 that is very hard to beat at it's price!! as a matter of fact I don't think you can beat it @ it's price point.
