OK, got it back and hit the range. Ran 190 rounds and had 2 premature lock backs with 2 of the 10 Buffalo Bore 180 I shot. When I cleaned it, you can see the area that they polished under the slide, its right in the middle area. Overall I am satisfied with my Bruin.
Would you mind taking a picture showing what and where they polished the slide?

Thanks,
Tim

They polished the middle rail, it took off most of the duty coating and turned it a yellowish color.

Its all cleaned up and in the safe, may be awhile before I take it apart again. I have other guns on my rotation.

This Bruin owner fixed his on his own, same exact problem on my gun with pictures.

Based on the photo in my previous post, the FTRBs were being caused by the bottom edge of the breechface/front edge of the cartridge pickup rail being too sharp, the sharp edge was digging into the next round. It comes from the factory with a 45 degree chamfer, but the edges were still too sharp. I smoothed it out slightly with 600 grit sandpaper and greased the cartridge pickup rail heavily.

Magazines used on the Bruin are the same ones used on my RI 6 inch 10mm. The Bruins are SS and the RI uses a blue finish. Neither have any marking on the tube. You need to unscrew the rubber bumper plates to ID them. The followers look like the old Kimber and Delta ones.
