You can choose up to 2.  You can change your vote at any time.  The poll will run forever.  Powder cost should not be considered an issue.  No other cartridge should be taken into consideration toward your choice(s).
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Blue Dot has been my do all powder since the late 70's for many pistol & some reduced rifle cartridges and shot shell gauges.
Cartridges I load for...10mm, 40S&W, 357Sig, 9x25Dillon, 38spl, 357mag, 44spl, 44mag, 9mm, 45ACP, 30-30, 308, 30'06, 12ga and 410ga...Blue Dot has driven all of these for accuracy and performance using jacketed and cast bullets with or with out gas checks.  Using Blue Dot in 2 3/4" 12 ga driving 1 1/4oz loads was hard to beat for magnum duck hunting loads before they eliminated lead shot!

While I still load many rounds using Blue Dot to include the 10mm, I am using IMR 800X & LongShot for some of the top performance loadings.  I think 800x has a slight edge with the heavier bullet weights vs. pressure in 10mm.

If I could only have one powder it would be Blue Dot.......... ;D

Blue Dot for sure, but AA9 and AA7 are a close tie for second place. Power Pistol is a decent 4th place choice, although it sounds like Longshot would be in the mix there somewhere, when I get around to trying it.

I've been using Blue Dot and like it so far but I've been reloading for a few months.

I use more blue dot than anything else in 10mm.  But for max performance, AA#9 (WC820 - old pull down) is my go to powder.  Looking at ordering 48 lbs of it in fact.

Hey Steve4102,

I hadn't thought of Silhouette.

Which bullet weights do you like it for?  Everything?

Anyway, I added it to the list so you can change your vote if you like, and just in case others would choose it too.

Yeah everything, but I haven't loaded anything above 180gr yet.  Works great for low-mid level lead target loads too.

Why no Titegroup?

Because it's not really about plinking powders.  It's about powders capable of producing relatively top velocity in 10mm Auto.

If I were to include plinking powders I probably would have had to add over 20 more powders to the list of choices.  But again, that isn't any part of the basis for this poll.

Otherwise, in general, there is certainly nothing wrong with Titegroup.  It is what it is and does what it does.
