Some odd stuff in that report:

- $5000/MO pension is pretty good IMO. It also appears he had additional work with IWI.
- Wife works at a hospital. If she is a nurse that's good money!
- Older Lexus and BMW... maybe living at a high standard?
- The house was worth what was owed. The 200k mortgage seems doable.
- The 17k in student loan debt is probably the wife's related to her hospital schooling.
- I'm shocked about the 75k in credit card debt. WTH did they buy to run it up that high? That's kind of a killer! High on the hog purchases?

They had already filed for bankruptcy. Something isn't making sense and money management sounds way out of whack!

Sad, days as the world is turning to crap...It does seem he was living above their means if the debts are as stated...

It actually seems within means if the wife is doing well. If they filed for bankruptcy in 2014, how did they get 75k in credit card limits already? Usually you can get a card right after with low limits. I wonder if more details will come out?

On another note he had to know he wouldn't get away with it. Was he setting up to check out because he was tired of dealing with it?

Not exactly the best place or location for an attempt. I wonder what the wife's role is in all of this?

Don't know the answers but he got what he had coming to him.

This is practically in my back yard.  (about 100 miles away)  My local dealer is a retired trooper and works part time for the Turnpike collecting money from the toll booths.

Strange...

Daylight, in an area that usually have Police at the ready, no mask... makes zero sense!

Nothing unusual for around here. 99% of cops around here are crooks.

Pa State Police have a superior retirement plan that calculates the highest one year served thru their tenure.  This person was over the top in life style. Heck, I'm 50 and gave stuff away and continue too. Food, shelter, ammo. Bear in mind, Penna like other states are suffering a severe pension crises. One day the hair cuts will come.

I thought his $5000/mo was pretty nice too! I'm still wondering what they bought that totalled $75,000 in two years? Being in law enforcement that many years he should have known a better plan to "possibly" get away with it. Where would one go to here more about the findings in this case?

Find out what county he committed his crime, and do a search at the county courthouse website for his name.

More gun control for even cops, right? That's the solution because of a knucklehead.

Yet, gun possession and concealed carry is ridiculous for the average law abiding citizen, the same people who have crime statistics equal or lower than police, depending on the study you read.

Pass my my holster and pistol, please. I will continue to carry. It should be legally across all 50 states and other territories.

Country has lost its way.

The plot thickens as he received a payout when he retired of $112,000. They spent a ton of money and were still in debt.
