Did anyone else ignore the Superbowl?

I never cared for team sports. (i have detested them since I was a child). Valentine's day is also meaningless (what woman)? There really isn't anything to enjoy except Easter.

I watched a Law And Order Marathon instead.

Ignored Law and Order. Enjoyed the Superbowl, immensely (Broncos fan, since forever). Ignored the commercials and half time, though.

Watched the 4 part Law and Order with the female detective and psycho before watching the superbowl. The game was a grind and it was a defensive win for Denver. Newton also got some humble pie which is nice.

Thing is, last winter I was on quite the brass cleaning frenzy. Interestingly after prepping these 400 cases, it's like I didn't hardly made a dent in the first bag of clean brass. And I have MANY bags this size. AND even more dirty brass left. ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ ${$default_grin_smiley}$

I watched the whole thing just as I did when my Broncos beat the Patriots. Both games were awesome! I think the Patriots game was one of the best I have watched in a while! Nothing like seeing two premier QB's (one old/ one young) get mashed in the mouth for 60 minutes!

You guys missed a good game if you did not see it.

Denver's defense had to play their best game of the season to win and Von Miller and company put on a show. I've never seen Newton on his back so much. Great pass coverage.

I think they did a better job on Brady. He was turning around like a top throwing passes into the ground. One thing is for sure... Cam didn't see a defense like that all year!

How can you miss a game if you have no interest? Beemer: You have erroneously presumed that everyone loves football. As a boy, I was derided, abused and beaten because I didn't care for the game. Most of the boys that played football are now in their 60's. To this day, they couldn't run 50 yards without an inhaler!

Bruce Springsteen wrote a song about it called, "Glory Days". Well, those days are pretty much over. Instead of Steroids and Protein Shakes, it's PoliGrip and Metamucil.

Denver's defense was very good in both games. I think they played better in the Super Bowl mainly because I felt that Carolina had a much better all around offense than NE.
