My front sight just popped off yesterday at the range. Luckily I found it after about ten minutes. Does anyone make night sights for these? I'll probably just lock tite it down but I'd love to have a tritium front sight post.

Someone posted in the Gunsmithing section about having it done. If you could just find the Tritium vials any Gunsmith should be able to fit them.

Yes, nothing off the shelf. Only fiber optic ones.
Part of it is the proprietary dove tail on front sights. Most of it is Tanfoglio brand doesn't have market share to get sight mfg's attention.

Everyone has their preference on what works for them. When a pistol has a rail I don't understand why most don't opt for a laser setup?

Too many moving parts for a defensive weapon, IMO. They're OK, just not for everyone. The rail is the LAST place you'd want a sight system. Better with a Crimson Trace or LaserMax, as neither require a rail, and don't mess with the pistol ergonomics or require special holsters.

The laser I use is smaller than a .50 piece and the other one is CT. Police weapons employ them.

I have had my original (red) Micro from Lasermax for years and love it! I see the technology has advanced and they have it in green now! Only way to fly and has me thinking about upgrading!

Sorry, had Glock on the brain. I was referring to Lasermax guide rod laser. I don't think they make them for any but Glock.

Just a note, most PD's do not approve of any rail mounted device on uniform service handguns. Many don't for off-duty, either. They are additional points of failure, and can't be universally trained. Those departments that don't disapprove just haven't policy'd it, yet. That isn't to say many officers don't use them, as many (if not most) either don't know their own policy, or just don't follow it. As a defensive weapon carrier/bearer, you choose your platform, and you are responsible for your own training. You also carry your own liability.

I just bought a Wolff xp recoil spring pack for my two witness pistols. They seem to chewing up everything just fine with the two heaviest springs. The pack also comes with firing pin springs. Are these necesary? Would they have any ill effect on the trigger pull?
