red dot mount for Ruger SR9

I found a used Burris Fastfire III for $130.  I would like to put it on my Ruger SR9.  Does anyone make a dovetail mount for this?

Burris makes dovetail mounts, but they don't list one for the SR pistols. A much better option, for that pistol, is a little machine work to allow for a direct screw mount, or a rail insert, which will work with the standard FF rail mount. Galloway Precision makes one that allows the use of standard Glock mounts, for $30 or less.

Thanks for the reply.  I looked at the Galloway mount.  Galloway says it uses inexpensive base plates.  I do not know where to get the glock base plate at a reasonable price.  The ones that I found were very expensive.  The base plate plus the dovetail Galloway would add up to as much as machining the slide.

They aren't that expensive, even new. About $55-60 for both. $100-150 for machining, if it can be done on the SR9 (I doubt it). You don't have many options with that pistol, if you want to mount the FF to it. What I would do is install the Galloway mount and drill/tap for a direct sight mount. While machining is ideal and the most robust, it is irreversible. The SR9 pistol is not designed to accommodate such a modification. The only cheap way to optics on that pistol is already installed. Any other way won't be cheap. I do all my own machine work, and it still isn't cheap.
