Years ago there were people converting the M1 Carbine to use .357 Magnum rounds.  Recently, I've been told there have been some who have been converting them to 45 Win Mag.  A 10mm in an M1 Carbine would be interesting, as the bolt wouldn't take as much work to modify as with the others.
Though I agree with the concept stated earlier of an AR15 in 10mm, or 10mm Magnum.  I've been told there is an upper out there, but it is pricey.

Marlin used to make a "Camp Carbine" chambered in 9mm and 45ACP, which is a neat handy little rifle.  I'd like to see a remake chambered in 10mm that would utilize the Glock 20 magazines, synthetic stock molded like the original wood and an up graded buffer system.

Still looking to see if ever VLTOR will ever remake the Bren Ten's as a way to preserve this timeless classic that started the pathway of our favorite cartridge.  This venture has flopped in the past, but it could be done at anytime.  But to get a Miami Vice Classic Bren Ten that would be a functional reliable shooter would be very desirable!  8)

The Witness Elite is everything the Bren 10 never was. I loved the gun concept and am a big Vice fan, just sayin

Owning a Bren ten would be cool, but I agree that the elite series eaa find are probably better.

I don't disagree with you on this point, the upper end Witness guns are fine equipments.

The problem is that the 10mm is too powerful for the Marlin Camp Carbine format. (This is what was said by the people at Marlin). The recoil-operated system would have a breechblock that is too large for the system to handle.

The recoil setup is lacking, I had to rebuild a 45ACP version of the Marlin Camp Carbine for a friend as the buffer broke down over the years...The bolt could be beefed up to add mass and recoil spring could be increased...

I'd be happy just to see some new quality, bonded JHP or JSP bullets that are designed to run at 10mm velocities.

Federal came out with that 180 JSP load a while back, but right now it's unobtanium. I'd love to be able to source that bullet.

Some 155's that are designed to run at 1300 to 1450 would be great. Everything out there is designed to run at .40 velocities and it shows.

This.

A good JSP at an economical price would be great.

Can you expound?

Does Nosler have a new bullet that runs at 10mm velocities?

Yes.. check this out.. it's my main carry load, 2 of them, (1500+  FPS) then one 115 grain Le High penetrator(1700 FPS).....

Nosler makes 150, 180 and 200 grain as well

I am on the other end.  Nosler 200 grain at 1200 fps.  The 135's don't achieve minimum 12" penetration.

I'm 9 inches front to back and I'm a pretty big guy. I'm happy with a full 750 foot lbs transfer at +  or - 11 inches, although every 3rd round in my mags are the 115 grain Underwood/Lehigh penetrators..
