Is this a good price for a Glock 20?

I can get a Glock 20 from a local gun store for $550, plus tax, of course.

I can get a Glock 20 from Bud's for $549, plus the FFL transfer fee on my end.

I'm thinking of buying local and just want to check to see if you guys think this is a good price for a G20.

The prices in this area for a Gen3 G20 were 439.00 to 499.00 (with 2 mags) back in the summer when I bought mine. I haven't looked at Gen 4 prices but they are higher than the older models.

Where are you? $439 for a NIB Glock 20 full size frame almost sounds too good to be true.

I have a line on a gently used one this morning for $75

EdMc

Whoops.....539.00 to 599.00.  Damn, and I thought I got a deal.  :o

OK, great, I may go put my down payment on it tomorrow then. Phew.

And, I didn't think Glock released a Gen 4 version of the G20, right?

EdMc

The Gen 4 is out. I saw a post while lurking on GT right after I bought the 20SF. The G20s not being the fastest sellers, a Gen 4 might be hard to find. Just my opinion as I make no claim to knowing much about the Glock retail market. Nor about prices, it seems....... :D

I bought my G3 G20SF for $600 shipped. I could not find one anywhere. Finally found one on Gun Brokers that they would ship to California. No regrets here.

I paid about that for mine,  think it was like $10 lower but had to pay 7 to get into gun show.   No one local had either 10mm and few shops around me only like to deal with what they have in stock.  They act like ordering you something is not worth the time .
I would buy local before I ordered one for the same price.

EdMc

Locally I found a couple of G20s but only one store with a 20SF that was what I wanted. Naturally, it was at the high end of the price range. ;) The dealers with better prices either couldn't get a SF from their distributors or didn't want to bother.
