I really feel they will. There would be no reason for them not to. Their current offerings are selling quite well but there are plenty of guys just like you and me that are holding out for the double stack versions. I've always liked their guns. I've never freaked out and became a Sig fan boy or anything. If they the model I want, it will be my first Sig. Same thing goes to Smith if they do an M&P 10mm.

Now that Sig has made a bold 4-pistol foray into 10mm land, there're a lot of us 10mm fans looking to S&W to bring out at least one beefy 10mm M&P model - since unlike Sig, Smith actually has hands-on experience at building semi-autos that can handle full-throttle 10mm ammo.

Despite the FBI's later request to Federal to give them a downloaded 180gn 10mm load, Smith designed and tested its first 10XX-series prototypes around the full-power Norma loads of the day.

But the real consequence from Sig's initiative is there's just no telling  - yet  - what other gun-makers will be prompted into producing a new 10mm model or two ...  Ruger?  CZ?

Maybe Sig's effort will actually spur Vltor into completing its reboot of the  Bren Ten by the 2016 SHOT show, and we'll finally see the two-tone Legacy model hit the market. (That's the model Vltor's Presudent, Abrams, referenced in his otherwise corporate-speak "Update" memo of Jan. 2015 on the company's website.)

Yes I saw the 3 that were on gunbroker all at the same time.  2 ended by buy it now within 6 hours of being posted.  The other one is the one that has been referenced here in this thread except that it was going through gunbroker for at least the second time.  I'm kicking myself because I could have hit the BIN on one of the Megastar's for 1300.00 but I had never seen one for sale and I had no idea what the value was!!! 
So anyway enjoy your Megastar and if you ever want to sell or trade it send me a private message or smoke signals. LOL

There was a NIB Starvel 10mm on GB recently with 4 mags. If I remember correctly, bidding got to $2100 but still didn't meet the seller's reserve.
