This could be a fun thread. I bought this about a week and a half ago for $650. Bought a 300 Blackout barrel for it and took off the .223 barrel. If you'd said I should buy one of these a couple months ago, I'd have said you're nuts, but now, my research convinced me it does fill a specialized niche, and actually works pretty good. Weird little gun though. Technically a pistol, so it's legal to carry loaded in this state with my CPL, and no ATF paperwork required. I'd put a stock on it an make it an SBR, but that's not legal in my state.

Some 135 10mm bullets to play with
Some Blue Dot, Long Shot and H4350
Some 270 Dies, case trimmer, brass, primers, 110 130 150 grn bullets
AR lower
500 223 rounds for a great deal.

I just got my new Lyman 44 cal 250gr Devastator HP Gas Check mould in, and casted some up.

However I didn't like what my regular RCBS sizer 0.429" was doing, (could be the top punch).
So I ordered a new 0.431" sizer for my Star sizer/lubricator, now I have to wait for it to arrive.

No doubt I'm itching to buy some shooting related goods!  It's just on hold thru the near future cause of other unexpected costs to include;  replacing the tire I shredded during an abrupt off road situation, replacing my camera I accidentally bounced off a rock, $70 worth of new printer ink cartridges (lasts about 6 months),....

Wait, I did get new batteries for my chronograph! ;D  But, that isn't actually getting me back to handloading and shooting. :(

I didn't buy it....But a buddy dropped off a can of 4831 surplus powder he found in his fathers reloading room.  Cracked the lid and the powder looks perfect.  No clumping, smells just like the new stuff.

Oh, and the can.  It is about 2' tall and about 1' square.  Weighs over 40 lbs.  I think I am set for 4831 powder for the rest of my life.  That would be enough to load about 3500 rounds for my 300 Win Mag.

That is pretty sweet!  2'x1'x1' :o  +40 Pounds :-\

I bought a Redding expanding die for 10mm. Pretty boring.

I really like the stuff Redding has to offer. I was looking through the catalog and they have a lot of cool stuff. How are their progressive presses?  That's what I am looking for next. Any suggestions?

REDLINE

Their T-7 turret press w/primer arm is the closest you'll get to a progressive with Redding.  All in all though, depending on your specific needs, you really can't go wrong with it if it will do the kind of production numbers you're hoping to achieve.  It's way over built, which I really like.  It is the next press I would like to own.  Right now I only have a single stage press too.  But I do have Redding 10mm dies and love them.  So smoooooooth.

But yeah, pretty hard to go wrong with anything from Redding.  So far I have their dedicated 10mm die set, powder trickler, and #2 beam scale.

Well I won a bid on Evil Bay, for the Dillon 550B, 10mm/40S&W/357Sig/9x25 shell holder plate with the pins.  This will allow me to run any one of these cartridges on the progressive press if and when I decide to run then.  I do have a ton of 40S&W to do, therefore I may start with them...

Congrats!  I know you wouldn't have done it if it wasn't at, minimum a decent, or super deal.  That's awesome.  Have you already got a mounting location picked out, or is that part of the fun still to come?
