Yep... the Guide's Choice are awesome rigs from the looks.  I'm gonna get one for my Ruger SBHH after Christmas ....

Great picture of Jeff Quinn, who is a member here.  Maybe Jeff can comment on what he thought of the rig.

Well in years past I had Safariland holsters, model 25 with the belt with ammo loops from my S&W mod29 44 w/8 3/8" barrel.  Also a shoulder rig fro my S&W mod19 357 6" barrel.

When I moved on to the S&W 1006 I got two style one is an OWB canted that carries ver close to the body, the other is a Accumold holster with thumb strap for better security & protection from the elements, I used for woods carry, this helped retain the gun while walking, climbing or riding.

For the Glock 29 I have a UTG ballistic nylon holster w/ extra magazine pouch for the same security & protection from the elements reasons.

For conceal carry I have the JS Kydex IWB http://www.jsholsters.com/ very close fitting and secure but with longer periods of wear the very top edge can irritate and I find myself adjusting the ride a little.
The "10mm" I'm Packin', Has The Bullets Wackin', Smakin' & The Slide is Rackin' & Jackin'!

Well last week I bit the bullet and ordered the Diamond D holster. 185$.... Not cheap, but everything I read says its a quality piece.

Patiently waiting for the review.

I bought a survivalsheath.com chest holster for my 10mm. Very comfortable for long hikes, sort of concealable, kydex as I lived in NW montucky(rains and snows lots). Easy to get pistol out from under weatherproof clothing.
I also have a Diamond D chest rig for my single actions.
Both rigs are well made and very useful.

That looks like a nice setup for the outdoors easy on and off too. Right now i only have a xm-15 and its kind of hard to get your pistol in and out of it. Let us know how you like it when you get it.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts CW on the new Diamond D rig when you get it. Will be waiting on your report. Thanks,

cwlongshot

I got a email from Diamond Leather, my holster will be shipped out early next week. So with luck ill see it before next weekend!

Looking forward to this, after reading the many testimonials of the quality and fit. This is gonna be great!

I'm hoping I can have a holster made for my PMR that will work on the same harness. I like to carry the PMR while riding the ATVs. I also carry the 10, but most times I do not need all that horse power and the fun little fire breather is so light and fun to shoot, while providing enough power for my needs.

Still waiting....

In the mean time, I have come across another option for carrying...

http://www.hillpeoplegear.com/Products/InDetail/KitBags/tabid/922/Default.aspx

This may make for a even better option for when I am in less ''gun'' friendly locations. Plus may work for trips on the bike (on road) as well...
