Shot both of these today. 150 rounds in each and the new Sig seems very similar the the 1006. The Sig does have a much better grip. Both are built like a tank and could handle all 10mm loadings. The new Sig is a great pistol. The double action trigger of the Sig us much bett than the 1006. Accuracy of both was about the same. It is great that more companies are coming out with new 10s.

Was looking for a S&W bought the Sig 10 and could not be happier.

All I need is a 10mm revolver and i will be good to go.

Today went out with my Sig 10mm. I have the two mags that came with it but also used two of the eight rd mags for the .45 Sig and two ten rd mags for the .45 they actually hold 11 of the 10mm turn the Sig into a 12 shooter. All mags and ammo preformed flawlessly with the 200 rds fired. 10 grains of Blue Dot 180 hard cast bullet.

Good report.  Also good to know the 45 mags work with 10mm ammo

I'm waiting on my new P220-10 mm to show up at the FFL. I am so stoked; it's the Match Elite model.

What? After I spent the money for like 32-33 10mm mags? I could have been using those $7 gun show 1911 mags? >:(
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

It kind of depends on your pistol you have. I have used 45 mags in my Sig 220 in 10mm and have had zero issues. However in my 1911 Kimber SS Target II the .45 mags have not always worked perfectly. For range work it is not an issue for me. The 10mm Sig mag for the 220 are about $40 or so but the .45 mags for the Sig in .45 are $17.

Yeah, I use all my P220 .45 acp magazines in my P220 10mm.   No issues (Original 7's, newer 8's and the extended 10's).

I also have had very good luck with Checkmate and Wilson .45 acp magazines working in my Kimber Eclipse II in 10mm.

I  likewise tested my Sig 45 mags in the 10mm and they ran just fine...fed Hornady xtp smoothly..

Sean Thornton....We is a usual best place for low prices on the 45 mags...

Thanks

How well does the Sig shoot? I like the style and the fact that the 10mm still ouperforms the .357 S&W Magnum by quite a margin.

I have put over 1000 rds of a variety of ammo and no malfunctions. It is fantastic.

I'm close to buying one now, but Bud's is out of them. Anyone else have the SA/DA you are aware of who isn't trying to get rich in one day? I believe the PN is 220R510RTASMSE.
