  The waiting game begins!

It ended up being $505 through Kentucky Gun Company.

I guess to compare...

G19 = $499
XD = $399
Witness = $320

Maryland is brutal. Slightly better than NJ I guess. Glad I don't live in either.

What is the capacity on that thing? I have a 9mm for my large capacity choice, 16+1. CZ. A very fun firearm.

Gotta love the mountain west.

Fill out a form 4473 and wait 5 minutes.

15+1 capacity

I received the tracker today and it will be at the FFL on Monday. I'm happy Kentucky Gun Co. will still ship the magazines to another State for you!

Intercooler

They have a 26 round magazine for it as well. I will have to pick one of those up   ;D

  I got a call this evening that it's in. Since it will be in jail for probably a month, I'm going tomorrow or Thursday to check it out and take some pictures.

Intercooler

Heavy pictures coming. I went today to spend some time with it  ;D

Magazines look much like Witness pieces except for the catch square in the front of the magazine. My guess is these are Mec-Gar and possibly Witness pieces can be adapted. I will know more later when I try some things.

  The pictures I'm sure still aren't doing it justice. I'm not impressed easily in guns... this one does! It got a shocking reaction in the shop that is processing it for me. So much so that they pulled out a trigger-pull gauge after eyeball engineering it and testing the trigger out. They all were pretty shocked in how well thought out and put together this thing is! My initial thoughts so far:

- I wasn't real impressed with how the trigger pull was being done, but we measured 10lbs and 4.25lbs in SA. Pretty much everyone that tried it was impressed with the break, reset, etc... of the trigger. It's close in feel to my Witness Limited Pro the best I can tell without having it here to compare. I think the XCalibur trigger might be to light in SA for my liking.
- Everyone commented how smoothe the slide and feel was in operation.
- I actually like the sights as-is and especially the rear how it's rounded and shielded. I guess we will see when I actually shoot it.
- The finish and machining are outstanding! Hopefully some of that shows in the pictures. Many there commented on that.
- Just like other pictures we have seen, the brass looks like it's going to sink down in that chamber nicely.
- It feels and looks like all the sharp edges have been addressed.
- One possible negative (for me) is the smallish safeties. I will put a video to another reviewer who seemed to think the same (DocTacDad). I'm sure I could change to the XCalibur extended pieces or wait on Henning. Not a deal breaker!
- The slide serrations are about perfect in protrusion. You have enough there to do your thing, but not excessive meat.
- It has a plastic guide rod piece, but I know that can be changed if wanted. I know others have changed to a Steel piece that probably comes from another model. I will have to try it and see if that is warranted.
- The grip is really really really like a Witness. I think that was what really caught my eye in the beginning going for one.

    This has really put the 10mm version at the top of the must buy list. I just can't figure out whether I need the 5" version or get one like this 9mm in the 4.25" version. :)

Here is DocTacDad's review with some talk on the safeties.

  Many of the points I agree with and probably best review on the GP.

GP vs EAA K9 magazine

The GP is smaller front to back like a small frame. Perhaps they would fit? The release notch would still have to be cut in though.
