Arredondo Extension Jams

So I bought a Arredondo +5 magazine extension for my Glock 20 gen4. But everytime I install it, the follower will get stuck in the magazine about half way down and the rounds just fall out. I have tried it on all my magazines with the same result. They are using the #4 follower. Any suggestions?

I run 5 of the Arredondo +5s on my MG20 (MechTech/Glock 20) Mags
My G20 is a Gen 2 (first Gen) Glock 20 and haven't have a single issue in several hundred Rounds
If you're not (accidentally) installing the Mag Spring backward, try bending the nose of the Mag Spring up a bit
