That certainly makes much more sense.  I've personally never seen what PowerPistol looks like to know.  Either way, you are correct that the charge weight wouldn't add up for 2400 anyway.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

TaosGlock from 10mmTalk reported this range report for 180gr Golden Saber

Kimber 180gr. Golden Saber 9.6gr. PP MV:1376fps ES-97 ME:754ft/lbs.

I'm somewhat impressed.  Did he discuss any pressure signs that may or may not have existed?

His remarks were that he felt they were no worst than other loads and seened save in his guns the way they were setup.

I'ld call that decent.  Do you recall that the 6" used in the G20 was aftermarket, or if it was the actual Glock accessory 6" barrel?

Thanks.  He even choose to use CCI350 primers.  Good Stuff.

The  bullet in that pic is definitely a Gold Dot. I had heard that they went back to them. The powder could be 800-X. At 10.1 gr of 800-X I got an average of 1,333 fps. That's close enough to the box flap claim. The report gives an average velocity almost 100 fps slower, though.

Okay, I'm stupid.  He did post pics at the link which I had already even seen. :-[

Here is one of the pics;

Kind of looks like Alliant 2400 to me.  I'm not saying it is, just that is kind of looks similar at least.

Thanks for the pic. Definitely not 2400. It doesn't look like Power Pistol to me either, Power Pistol flakes are thinner, and blacker. The appearance is similar to Hodgdon Universal (similar performance to Unique) but that wouldn't make sense in this load.

You don't think it's 800-X?

Yondering

I don't know about 800-X, I don't use it.

Shadow and others that do have mentioned tan colored identifier flakes in 800-X though, and I think I see those in the picture.

This powder in this picture doesn't look like IMR800X!

This is what IMR800X looks like, there are a few smaller flakes inside that are tan in color...

There are two in this picture along the upper portion of the scale pan
