Lock the Hickock45 video.  I have looked at them in gun stores and they seemed sort of unbalanced.  I had a G20 several years ago and that is sort of more for general use.  I guess the G40 is built more for handgun hunting applications.

I have a Glock G 40 and I think it's just fine. It feels a little front heavy when you don't have a loaded magazine in. I think this whole unbalanced thing is just a gun store salesman's way of justifying the short barrel pistol.

Picking up a pistol in the LGS is just kind of worthless because they don't let you put a magazine in with actual ammo.

I'm not mad at anybody here, everybody has a different opinion and everybody likes what they like.

In other words, some people like long barrel pistols. Some people don't. That's more the issue than balanced or unbalanced.

Finally got my hands on one of these bad boys. The two places that would've been slightly cheaper just seemed too cool for school to bother with a "stupid" Glock 40. So sorry it wasn't a generic 17, 22, 19, 23. Hunted it down last night and went 50 miles south to Puyallup to get it the next morning. So happy I did. Really like the feel of this thing and have a few parts to install tomorrow.
