Underwood 200 gr XTP

Why are we saying that Underwood 200 gr XTP is a woods load and not a self defense load, when it  penetrated ballistic gel  at
16 1/8 inches. Same penetration as the Winchester Silver Tips. People say that the Silver Tips load is for street carry. Hornady
180 gr factory load penetrated 17 1/8 inches, people say that is a good home defense load.

Loaded that hot the XTP does expand quite well. Would be a great defense load. Loaded lighter expansion is much, much less.

Me thinks the factory  load is spot on.
