After shooting my sons Gen3 SF, I said I have to get me one of these. I like the size of the 20 and the way they carry, but my son said if you are going to hunt with it, get the 40. I wonder when the 40 will be release and if it will be a lot higher priced? I think I would like to have a gen4 in FDE to match my 19. What do you all think?

The G-20 can be had with longer AM barrels such as LWD 6" and 9"

Lone wolf also has a long slide to make it look more like the 40

The G40 surely will cost more. If you like the 20's size for carry it might just be for you. Plus who knows when these guys will even get the G40 on the market.

I'll probably sell my G20 when the 40's come in, I only use the 20 for target practice and the 40, I imagine, will be a little nicer for that type of shooting.  You never know though - guns do tend to multiply...  Every gun I have told myself I'll sell once the "new" one comes in, their still in the safe!

I actually sold mine to my friend to help fund the Glock 40 when I can get my hands on one.

I've got a 29sf and a 20c. If and when I see a 40 I hope to have one of those as well.

I built a G20 longslide with mostly Lonewolf parts before the 40 came out. It's not without issues along the way, and it's still not perfect. I love to tinker and have fun, but if I just wanted a straight path, out of the box longslide 10mm, I would start with a Glock 40.

My biggest hassle is just the overall tightness of the Lonewolf chamber and how it works with the slide itself and spring selection. Main comment is the difference in simple terms is the home made G20 seems to really narrow the ammo usability selection down (I can use extremely HOT ammo in one set up, but can't switch to powder puff, and visa versa ) vs. out of the box Glock 40, which I assume will work with any 10mm ammo.
