I was up in Billings Montana and admit to being shocked to seeing a SIG 10mm in their case.  :o

Couldn't resist & had to fondle it.  Maybe it's been a very longtime since I've played with a SIG, but it was heavier than I expected, and the trigger was.......pretty terrible; again, been a long time, but I don't ever ere call a SIG trigger being so bad.  The salesman was saying it's because it's a short-reset trigger.....I don't know, but I wasn't too impressed.

Of course, I'd still get one; after all, it's a 10mm and a SIG Sauer, if I wasn't focused on a project gun right now.

That is too bad about the trigger.

I suppose you could swap it out.

Trigger didn't seem that bad on the one that I touched at Cabela's

DA/SA

Thanks. Been looking to fondle an SAO locally, but so far have not found one.

I see this month's issue of Shooting Times has an article on SIG P220 10mm pistols.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

This is the version I'd like to have:

10 days ago I found two (Match Elite)at the Fort Mill, SC Cabelas - after I left, they only had one.   Both of them had great feeling triggers.  Maybe I was just lucky. ;D

DeltaElite10

Sig P220s and P226s have always been known to have nice triggers. I haven't handled the P220 DA/SA in 10mm yet but I still find it surprising that it would be that awful to you. Might want to check another one if you get the chance, perhaps you got the exception in that store (?).

Fondle it?

I would have probably made love to it!  ;D

Sam: what model was it, and what was the LGS price?
The 10mm AUTO ...
When you're finally serious about stopping power.

SHOOT1SAM

Sorry agtman,

Forget which model it was....want to say the price was $1200.
