Carrier from GT used the wax media.  It was reuseable.  There are some websites that have various waxes that can be purchased in bulk and varing degrees of oil content.

I got some decent info out of it. The 10mm just exploded the block. I think to work best you need it contained (tube) but it also has to be flexible so the cavity can swell as it should. That Gold Dot held together pretty okay but what a show!

I bet the wax would work very well if placed in a rubber tube or 5" or 6" hose.   You might want to check with a firehouse that does hose repairs, they might supply you some old Large Diameter hose for free!  Place a cardboard plug, sealed with hot glue...Good luck!  ;D

So, basically you are shooting into home-made bullet lube.  Interesting.

I have a friend who runs a lost wax bronze foundry.  I bet I could gets lots of scrap wax from him that isn't good enough for his uses, or mine as bullet lube.  But, mixed with some baby oil I bet it would make a decent ballistics medium.

Hmmmm.

Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.
