I Started out wanting a colt de. ( have some colt nostalgia as I inherited a colt .25)
1. Colt delta elite-  like the platform in .45, was planning on sending back to colt for tactical package but keep hearing chatter that it's not up to hot loads? One of the 2 guys that I know that shoot 10mm, strongly advised to stay away if I plan to shoot a lot. Not fully case supported either
2. Eaa - I like the feel, but feel like it is a bit off the beaten path and I question support if I had issues. But 15 rounds is appealing, full case support too. Low bore axis
3. Sig p220  8 rounds, strong proven platform ....strong contender at the moment. Have not shot the 220 in any caliber more than a few rounds....
4. Glock 40- 15 rounds, optic ready, not fully caa supported. But I imagine replacement barrels will be out soon. Have a lot of Glock experience, but not sure if polymer is the best match for 10mm? Honestly sorta bored with Glock.... Just all alike and vanilla.....but that is a small quip.
5. Wilson combat- just came in my radar, but seems like A lot to spend....but if it's clearly head and shoulders above...it's not out of the question.
6.smith 1006- lack of parts sorta scares me
any thoughts from you guys that have shot 10mm more appreciated.
I plan to carry at our farm, maybe hunt, shoot a good bit....

2. Anything from a Match on up!! I have had about all the flavors on your list at one point in time and now only have the three EAA's. Lot's of info, parts, etc... out there to work them on your own. You can work the trigger down where it's frightening in the 2lb range. The second option would be the 220, but you leave some on the table and the trigger would be hard to get anywhere close to the EAA piece.

Ok, that was easy...I commited to buy on a Eaa  stock 3

Thanks....

What are you using it for?  Range only?  Carrie or both? . Range, the Witness. Both,  your preference.  Me for carried.  The Glock.

The S3 has more front end heft than a Match. It will shoot the 10mm excellent. You will be the first one here with one. We need pictures and a report.

I was going to say look at the EAA also.  I have sort of been sniffing around one of those.  I think the early S&W 10xx and the Colt Double Eagles are getting to be more collector guns plus the parts problem.   I am glad I got to shoot a Bren10 a friend had years ago, but don't need to own one.   I have a 90 Delta Gold Cup and a DW in 10mm so am thinking of branching out from 1911.  Had a Glock 20 and they are O.K.

If you're into the Wilson Combat price range, there is always the Dan Wesson options also.  Don't own one but they look to be really nice pistols...

RZ10 is sweet and they do the .40 conversions in house.

He bought a S3 from the looks of it.

Good choice, the 1911's will run into a problem or broken part at some point in time.

I need to make a holster, but I really liked it.  Very smooth
Spent more time on other guns. But it will become a favorite

Well, I'm glad it was awesome. Certainly should be.
