I would just get another Tanfoglio with a rail  ;D

 I have one with a rail , a model 999200 .

Don't do it. I tried something similar on a Beretta 92 and it would not hold zero it is not anywhere near as good as using a rail.

Thank you for your help , ad input .

There is no frigging way I am going to trust a magnetic mount to hold a zero with a 10mm's recoil.  :-\
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Intercooler

Some outfit makes a trigger guard laser. That might be an option, but rail is best.

I'll see if I can find out who has a trigger guard mount laser .

Scratch that! None of them look all that hot.

This might be your best option if you can fit it on. The Hogue grips will fit the EAA pistols, but I would call Crimson Trace first. You could always return it I guess.

The Hogue grips you have to heat and stretch then where they wrap around the front mag well .  I think if you try that with the laser grips , you will destroy the switch .   AM I wrong ?

Why not just adapt one of the bolt on rails that you drill and tap to the dust cover of a 1911?

Drill, tap, then use some glass bedding epoxy to fill any gaps in how the rail interfaces with frame.
