The Eagle has landed....

And he sure was dirty! 

Saw a Double Eagle in a local pawn shop this weekend.....filthy dirty too.  didn't notice whether it was a MKII.  They was mighta proud of et, at $1200 skins.

It was almost comical.  I took it apart & was looking at (was astounded at the amount of) crud in there.  Was putting it back together & the cool kid with the gauges in his ears hands me the recoil spring plug & says "This goes on there" (he must have really been wondering how it came off in the 1st place....).  I never even raised my eyes, just took it from his hand & set it back down, finished putting it all back together, then looked at him as I put the plug over the spring & twisted the bushing.  The look on his face was almost like "Huh!  So that's how it goes on there!"
