Pretty sure that is a 22 mag.

Thanks.  I Googled the model.  I should not have done that. Gonna cost me.

I have a Marlin 22mag bolt gun.  Great gun and a great cartridge.

Think I do too...a 782, 882 and 883. :) Along with a couple DOZEN others so chambered.  :o :o  :P :) (I did say I loved them)

Not nearly as fancy as all these lever guns,  but I inherited a Marlin 39A from my father. I just rebuilt it.  He bought it new off the shelf in 1956. I'll post a pic once I re blue it.

Old well worn guns are my favorite.  They have stories to tell.

I LOVE my 39M
The Straight Stock of the Mountie is more comfortable to me than the Pistol Grip style of the 39A
My '72 Marlin 39M with its paired .65 Super Single Six, Old Model:

I pulled this one out of the safe yesterday for another friend to see...

I don't own any rifles that shoot a bigger than 308 projectile. But my 300 WinMag I think will drop just about anything. It's an AR and does chrono  a 208 grain Amax at 2585.
If I miss the first shot, I got nine more in the magazine.
With 70 grains of powder, it has a lot of ft. Lbs.

Oh I Already have a 458 SOCOM built it up myself then added an incredibly accurate RRA upper with the Hunter brake. Hard to comprehend but that ri,de is one of my most accurate rifles to date. I have loaded and run 300 FTX and HP all the way up to 405 grain hard cast bullets. Magpul furniture and Desert Tan Houge free float fore grip. A really nice Trijicon 1.75-4 with green chevron sits atop with optional open sites with side mounts go on when I am not hut ing with it. I let guys shoot my guns and without a doubt they all ohhhh ahhhhh over the 458 SOCOM and grin uncontrollably when I let them shoot it.
