Advertised 1200 FPS. Has anyone very chronographed this stuff?

Found an old thread on ar15.com that had it coming in way low (1080s). Thread is 3 years old though.

I purchased some not long and they advertised 1100? Found an old pull down on this site that said it was chrono'd at 1025 but I don't remember how current it was. Took them forever and apparently their inventory was wrong. The good news is they sent me XTP instead of the RNFP I ordered to make up for it.

Yeah they're incredibly mild so I'd say 1200 is quite generous. Shadow's pull-down from October of last year showed about 1050. I've shot a bunch of this and it's noticeably more mild than even "value" 10mm loads.

That's disappointing.

My results:

FREEDOM MUNITIONS     FM10R180N-B0050   180      FMJ   1,200   1,062      451      WIN WSF   6.6

That reminds me about needing the 6" data. Milder than PPU  :o

Never thought I'd ever see that sentence before! :))

I ran the 6" today for that data.

EAA Super Match 6" 1064, 1078, 1081, 1070. Average = 1073.25 FPS/ 460 LBS

Wonder what it would do in my Mechtech CCU @ 16"?
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Intercooler

About the same. The powder isn't really doing much in the longer pistol barrel. Just nothing there.

I don't understand what the use is of loading them to 40s&w levels. Why not just throw a couple more grains in there and space it up.

Intercooler

Write them with your thoughts. It works every so often!

How does the Georgia Arms chrono #'s compare to these Freedom Munitions? I'm needing to make another bulk order soon...

Georgia Arms ammo has shown some good quality and consistency, when i did the pull downs they were using LongShot powder in their stuff...  8)

Disappointing isn't the word, the last batch I received sometimes would not even cycle my RIA. Basically a waste of money, even for range rounds. Same with their 124GR 9mm rounds. Last time I try and save a couple of pennies.
