WalMart 1/2 price Perfecta (Fiocchi) and ZQI ammos plus they carry .50 BMG now!

   I was in today and like always peruse the ammo. They had most everything and the .50 BMG is new to me on the shelf. When I got looking, all the Perfecta ammos were rolled back to 1/2 price ($6.94)  Supposedly WalMart bought a ton and now are closing out the line. I started out just getting 12 boxes of 9mm and in the end finished with 30  The only other pistol caliber they had was .40 and I passed on them. Since they had .223 for $8.97, I bought all of those out... and don't even own a .223

It's a shame they don't carry 10mm, but do carry .50 BMG. If you need 9mm, .40, .45ACP, .308 or .223, get it now! They also had ZQI 7.62x51 also on sale for 1/2 price (box of 20).

Just checked my local Wally World - both the Perfecta & ZQI   9mm are still reg price. Guess my store hasn't got the memo yet.

  It could be supplied by a different distribution center. I was told when the one that supplies my two is empty... it's gone!

Yep... I've gone by a few stores since I saw this post and everything around here is still regular price.

Do you think maybe it takes a while for all stores to change? I called last night and they didn't have anything in that shipment. I'm starting to think I should have bought it all!

Prices at the big box stores are usually set at the district level.
It is all normal price here.

Ever get that feeling you should have just bought them. Now nothing in stock at either one. I should have just bought all 6k rounds of 9mm when I had the chance!

Been there done that... Had a chance to get 5 of those 22 lr cci mini mag ammo cans with 1500 rounds in each for $69 per can right before the 22 scare hit. Ive seen the same cans sell for $250 each now.

Price probably is set differently per district/region.  I checked again this morning and it's still at regular price at my store in NE Tx.

The sign still shows $14.47 around my parts, but when I had the SA check it, came in at $9.97. None of the other Perfecta shows a price drop.

Hindsight can at times elicit a good swift kick in the crotch.  Experienced similar quite a few times.

Good to know.  A few stores around here had pretty decent stock.  I'll try that.  Wouldn't pass it up around $10.

I looked yesterday (Sunday April 26, 2015), and it has $10.97 for 9mm, and $18.?? for 45ACP.
