Picked up a Glock today.  G29, I think this would be a "3rd Gen".  Fiber optic sights from tru-glo already installed.  The mags have the +2 base pads and a G20 15 round pad.

Hope it don't burst your bubble, but that's a 2nd Gen! No rail, and, matte finish on the slide!

sqlbullet

No bubble burst here.  I was glad not to have a rail.  Besides, how can "perfection" have generations?

Besides, for $425 I figure I did ok on any generation.

Good deal on that. 8) I felt like I'd finally moved into the 21st Century when I bought a Glock. ;D

Congrats!  It should serve you well!
I like and use the Pearce +0 grip on my 10 round mags giving a better purchase for the pinky.

Do you have the original (Test) casings under the foam padding?

No test casing there...Just a bunch of cleaning patches.

Actually, I just barely noticed this isn't the original case for the gun.  The sticker on the case was for a Glock 26, not a Glock 29.

The seller had just graduated college and his first job was in Hawaii.  Not a gun friendly state, so he was selling everything.  I imagine he just got these two boxes mixed up.  Doesn't matter to me.  A box is a box.

There is a little wear of the finish on the barrel and one scratch on the slide plate.  Otherwise the gun looks new.  Excited to get it to the range and try it out.  I have a Crossbreeed Supertuck on the way, from the seconds website.  Probably be 10-15 days before it arrives though.

Considering the fact, that the 29 is going to be on your hip, in a Supertuck, the box, is just something you are going to have to store! I know I have a nice stack going! 8)

sqlbullet

True.

I am also going to need another bedroom safe though.  Too many carry guns in rotation to fit in one bedside safe.

Don't tell my wife that though.

We'll both be glad you said that! You getting another in the rotation, would probably be one of the first things we discussed! :o

Just kidding, it would never even come up!

The Glock 29 is a very good package. Its size in that caliber is a great combo.  Congrats.

BTW, had mine on as I hiked a wilderness this past weekend.

I ordered a new slide plate cover and standard capacity magazine bases today.  The slide cover plate has a big scratch in it that I just don't like and a new one was like $3.00.  I like the feel and concealment of the standard magazine base plates, and with my grip style all my fingers make it onto the grip.

Very excited.  Probably have dry -fired it about 300 times now.

If ever, there were a Glock, worthy of the "Punisher" slide cover, it's the G29!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)
