I have considered the EAA Witness on several occasions, I learned a lot about the upper end models and also from Intercoolers testing with them. Three things pushed back my purchase of the EAA Witness line, while studying them in the wonder finish, I saw the cracked frames and serious surface anomalies that steered me away and purchased my first Glock the G-29 (prior to the SF). Meanwhile I had the opportunity to purchase the missing link in my S&W10xx collection the S&W1046 5" of which only 151 were made ${$default_cheesy_smiley}$ . Then all the talk of the VLTOR Bren Ten Vice Model remake had my hopes and dreams of ownership peaked to the point of a down payment at the local BPS, (this tied up my funds for one year only to be disappointed) ${$default_embarrassed_smiley}$ . Well after I recovered my money with BPS, a "REAL Bren Ten Standard Model" showed its face locally, although it was a little more than the mentioned remake, this was the real deal. ${$default_grin_smiley}$ Then as I accumulated more funds a beautiful G-20SF with ammo and accessories shows up locally at a price point I could not resist... ${$default_huh_smiley}$ Now we are a family of ten 10mm guns...Did I ever mention the 10mm guns were addictive! ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ Oh there were a couple of other impulse deals here and there just because... ${$default_tongue_smiley}$

Now, an new grass cutting season is starting and I might be able to earn enough this season to consider the purchase of yet another gun chambered in my favorite caliber/cartridge... ${$default_roll_eyes_smiley}$ EAA, some day soon! I promise!

The match is the best build for the money. Beautiful gun. Shoots almost as well as my ed brown. The glock 40 will be here soon too and then there's the new sigs. Depends on what you're feeling. Nice to have variety.

I shoot mine the most of any I own. It's pretty safe to say I really like them, or I wouldn't have bought so many ${$default_shocked_smiley}$

Even though the one I have is a low end model (999200), I love it . I have 3 other hand guns 2-45s , and a 9 mm , and I shoot the 10mm witness the most .

The only problem I have had with my Witness so far , is when I go to the range . It puts all my brass in low earth orbit .

Have you cut down your ejector yet? They use the same length for all the calibers and I documented a test cutting it back. It helps with that!

No I didn't , do you have a link on how to go about that ? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated .

Just don't cut if you swap top ends to other calibers. If swapping to 40 barrel, test that also.

I have all of mine cut back the same including 9mm. No issues with any of them.

I had my extractor stretched up in height just a bit. I had to have this done because of the 9 mm ejections.
Did cutting it back help cases go backwards instead of frontwards.

I'm sure that I am not the only one that would like to know more about cutting down the ejector .

It looks like the board erased my pictures after a period of time. In here you will find one that was .362" and I cut all mine to .300" ${$default_grin_smiley}$
