I am trying to decide between these and the current Hornady Custom 180 grain ammo I am using for carry purpose.  I guess these have a higher advertised velocity than the Hornady's (1250 vs 1100).  And with Intercooler"s testing it looks like they get close...

Fired a box of V Crowns, 155 Hornady's and 175 flexlock Hornady.

155 were equal or stronger than the V Crowns.

Flex Locks were clearly weaker but surprisingly smoother.

Fired out of my G 29 using stock and Lone Wolf extended barrel. No problems at all.All good carry ammo.

Running low on Win Silver tips... only a few boxes left and haven't been able to replace.

Will have to try these and see if the V crown makes a good replacement for carry.

I am very much enjoying this product. The price is right and having the carry and range ammo so close in performance and feel has been great. Certainly carries more punch than the UMC range stuff and the Hornady JHP I also carry.

Still not convinced what the best combo of weight/speed are for self defense and 10mm. But, this should certainly do the job, and I've started to bias my ammo inventory toward this product.

Both Sig loads run just fine in my RIA 10mm. Maybe more factory loads will start arriving as more than neutered .40 S&Ws.
