I like the 1911 one better!  Thanks for posting the video.  Especially the JMB part, nicely done!   
BTW, it reflects some of my sentiments about the 1911, but I am mostly tired of people acting like it is the only way to make a pistol or the 45ACP being the only cartridge worthy of being produced!

These are the exact reason I purchased the S&W1006 as my first semiauto, it wasn't a 1911 and it was chambered in the then NEW very powerful 10mm cartridge and held more ammo! 

It took me a while to warm up to the Glock pistols, but they have exceeded my expectations!

I'm not too up on the internal workings and differences yet. I will say the Tang's are easy to work on, simple and get the job done. I haven't had my 1911 down real far yet and/or understand the barrel lug or link thing yet. Can't decipher which is more robust and durable yet.
