Usu tho if a mag primer is needed, it will be specified
But, to use them up, I would think so,....  but since it will more than likely increase pressures, I would lower the powder amount back down and run groups building back up.

The Winchester Large Pistol primers are very near the same strength as the CCI 350 Magnum, I have substituted them directly in many loadings.  Unless you are loading to the very edge of maximum (anything over the manual published loads) you should be fine.

Rifle substitutions can be quit different, as load pressures are already very high and the magnum primer can spike pressures.

Agree with the above. Drop the charge a bit and check for issues.

One outlier that I encountered was with 800-X. 350s seemed to speed up the burn rate. Example:8.0 grains under a 200 gr bullet had velocities very close to an 8.5 gr charge with a 300 primer. Plus the brass looked more abused with the 350 load.

If you have a brick of them, burn them up. In fact, some people I know that shoot many thousands of rOunds for 3 gun and such only use small rifle primers in pistol ammo. That way they can simplify by only having one primer type to deal with four 223 and pistol. Rifle primers are hotter, so the pistol powder is worked up accordingly.
