Would this 10mm ammo be considered normal powered 10mm?

I know a lot of 10mm ammo has been neutered - like PPU.

I am not looking for high power 10mm like Buffalo Bore or Underwood.

Not sure on the Sig

Not understanding what you are saying though. You don't want neutered - get that. (It's .40SW!!)  BUT BB and UW are not THAT high power, they are just 10mm, not over pressure or anything.

I want some 10mm ammo that is equivalent to what 10mm was originally designed to be. From reading about different ammo on this site, it seems like a lot of factory 10mm ammo is not made to the original specs.

I want to compare the feel of my reloads against real 10mm ammo. So far 10mm has not impressed me that much. I feel very little difference between 10mm and 40S&W. I keep expecting something like a 357 magnum to 38 Special difference.

Underwood and Buffalo Bore are too expensive. The SIG FMJ seems like a good price (although Cabela's just raised the price $3/box).

I need to follow up with a Witness test to really know where this one sits. Anything >600lbs. I have always considered real 10mm. Right now for the price it's about the best bang for the buck FMJ practice 10mm round out there and won't be hard on equipment shooting a bunch.

For sure on the expense. 10mm is NOT nuclear........it's mostly legend. .40 is much closer to 10mm in pressure than .38Special is to .357Mag.  I think this is why so many people say "10mm is most enjoyable if you reload" and to get that perfect load without breaking the bank.

10mm is almost as cheap to load as .40 cal, once you get some brass.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Yep. Large primers, slightly more powder and bullets that can handle 5000 ft/sec.  ;D :D :)) :o 8)

That sucks they went up already. When more places get them in stock, I'm sure they will have better prices. If that isn't the case, I will opt for something similar for less $$.

The primers usually don't cost any more for the large pistol (At least not where I bought them) I use the exact same bullets for .40 cal and 10mm (185 grain Precision Bullets) Very slightly more powder, but a different faster powder, and I don't even want to hold a pistol that shoots 5000 ft/sec, much less fire one. I think My 10mm leave my pistols about 1200 fps.

Now in my Mechtech with the 16 inch barrel???? I need a chrony!

Had a good evening shooting and got the Limited Pro data. Just one of those days when I put them in really good and was feeling it  ;D so did a long string.

Sig Sauer 180gr FMJ
EAA Limited Pro 4.75" 1228, 1241, 1228, 1222, 1225, 1220, 1210, 1229, 1229, 1227. Average = 1225.9 FPS/ 600.55 LBS. About perfect for a real 10mm target round except... they jacked up the price to $28!
EAA Super Match 6" 1293, 1264, 1280, 1275, 1271. Average = 1276.6 FPS/ 651.25 LBS
