And, I would take a Colt Detective Special over the Chiefs Special.  And I want my 1911 in 10mm please since there is only one on the list.  That or swap out the Glock 22 for a Glock 20.

Speaking of 10mm, you should see the article on stopping power in this months American Rifleman. About 16 different rds of 40 cal and 21 or so of 45 ACP tested. Of 10mm........ONE.......135 gr Double Tap load. That's it........

I'm not a collector. I feel uncomfortable if the things I own are not useful. So, my bucket list for physical things holds little.
   
I've been fighting not to have a Colt SAA on my list. I'd love to have one to relive my childhood when we ran around the block with cowboy cap pistols. My state allows open carry, so I'd run around my property with it.
   
But, if I bought one, I'd have to have another to fit the two-gun holster I'd need. I'd have to have a cowboy hat and boots. Then a horse becomes mandatory.

It would be fun, but ... I don't want to think about it.

IF, there ever comes a time you have to worry about that, a pair of hog-legs and a horse may be the only things separating you from extinction.  Boots and hat optional.

S0nspark, you gotta get a Witness on that list.  You may not like them, but with a Witness present, you would have every major style of 10mm represented.

A bit surprising that penetration was stressed so much at the end... but maybe that was just for the sake of those who prefer to carry mouse guns. :-)

Lame, lazy, pick your adjective. Since they sampled Double Tap they can't use 'the ammo isn't easy to find' excuse either.
You'd at least think they would have tested a 180 grain for comparison to 40 cal, if nothing else. I mean, why bother to include just one load of 10mm. There is no rational explanation.
