Phew, that's smokin'! I'm curious to see how the HST holds up to that kind of velocity. A lot of people have mentioned the ceiling for that bullet being around the 1250fps range. Thank you for your diligent work!

When I eventually load 9x25 the Longshot data is VERY handy!!

The HST's were some pulled bullets, I picked up and decided to test with them.
They do bust up in water jugs!

I have gotten some 125's to near 1750 fps, Just need to up the LongShot a little.

so uhm...how about a "9x25 Maximum" and use 10mm Magnum Brass and keep the case length as close to 10mm Magnum length as possible.

There are two forms of the 9x30 one using 357Sig tapered neck and the other a 9x25Dillon Neck to shape the 10mm Magnum cases.  Most were being shot in TC with BullBerry Barrels as I recall.

Pablo, for the AR platform I have been thinking about a much, much bigger wildcat.  A 450 grain .416 bullet in a 308 case necked up.  Kinda a 416 blackout if you will.  I want it to work in my AR-10, and duplicate the ballistics of the 300 blackout for very, very heavy hitting silent plinking.

Not sure it has much real world utility, but I have a ton of 308 brass around, and a couple of AR-10 lowers.  And an imagination that gets me in trouble.

Gentlemen, I built 9x25 in 1988 and built the 9x30 in 1993. I enjoy reading your posts. At some point I'll post some photos for you on here. Shadow, I have followed several of your posts, over the years, thanks for all you have done to keep this cartridge alive and well.

Randy, so very glad you signed on here and yes I we would greatly appreciate you sharing your pictures and experiences with the 9x25 and 9x30 cartridges.  I think I have copies of the notes from back in the day from Jay Phillips that were shared by a fellow named Fred Ross.  In the PM I sent you I may have confused myself, as Jay was the one who works at Berry's Bullets.  Or you do you also?

I'm wondering about data from a 3.78" barrel. I found someone with a 1522 average using a 124gr Nosler Bonded by Underwood.
