Pablo they all sold from $860-$895.

That's close or above what I paid for my 20L Glock-Lonewolf - and extra springs and aftermarket parts. Probably works better stock, I mean maybe runs better out of the box in some ways.  But you don't end up with extra slide and barrel. That said I think my trigger is better than stock and better barrel.....

My LGS just got a blue label G40 in...... Must resist temptation

Now why would you want to do that?  ;)

FYI: there are more than a couple for sale currently that are ~$700, most with "but-it-now" prices of about $750 so they're already coming down quite a few bucks it seems.

Yeah I'd think that $700 is probably an acceptable top-end as far as their retail goes; the different slide and barrel lengths incur their own special production costs over "stock" I'm sure, but I wouldn't think that those two components alone could account for much more than a $150 difference in the retail of a Glock 40 versus a Glock 20 (~$700 versus ~$550) but I could be wrong. I'm interested to see how long it will take for the pricing structure to level out now that they're becoming regularly available.

Pablo

True enough.....I meant as compared to buying a barrel, built slide, etc as I did.

Gun store in Baton Rouge got a G-40 in but I'm not driving up there just to look... :-[

How much for the Blue Label? Less than $600 Glock direct.

Does anyone own one yet? I read somewhere that the slim slide idea is not happening. That its the same width as the glock 20.

jbaker30

Dave I think you are right the slide is the same except for the beveled end like the 29. Don't have one yet, but will when my local shop gets one.
