Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif dismissed the letter as a "propaganda ploy" on Monday. "I wish to enlighten the authors that if the next administration revokes any agreement 'with the stroke of a pen' ... it will have simply committed a blatant violation of international law," he said in a statement.

What have I said? The GOP are jokes when it comes to foreign policy, Iran just made them look like idiots.

Patriot

I think you're confused sir. Only congress can remove a majority of the sanctions against Iran. Obama can make any agreement he wants, but it will have no affect of law without the congress. Congress could actually vote to make the sanctions stricter. The Iranian guy might be correct that an agreement can't merely be taken back by the next president IF the agreement was legal to begin with, but before it can even come to that, the congress must vote to lift the sanctions. The president can't sign an executive order undoing an act of congress. Sorry.

Secondly, this act could be considered a treaty, which must go through the senate with a 2/3 vote.

Wolfie

Patriot, you think the other 6 nations will let that happen?

That will ruin the credibility of the US and when we attack we will be on our own.

You truly have no clue about domestic and foreign politics.

The GOP made themselves look like fools, but keep defending them.

Oh great so now we're listening to a terrorist sponsoring state.

So let me get this right:

A criminal, who employs criminals, wants to get into an agreement with other criminals. We used to call that a Crime Syndicate.

The current administration continues to wipe their ass with the Constitution. They allow (and I guess encourage) the Top Law Enforcement Official to provide guns to the Mexican Cartels, and now are trying to become friends with a leading sponsor of terrorism?

If Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif (and terrorist supporter) said the sky was blue I'd walk outside and check. I would not quote him on anything even if he was saying his own name.

No thank you. It's the Democratic Party that is the joke. They and the Sheeple that support them are sadly out of touch and supporting the enemy. They should change their name to the Democratic Socialist Party or maybe the National Socialist Workers' Party. Oh wait that was the name of Hitler's Political Party so they wouldn't want to use that as it was shortened to the Nazi Party. Then again maybe they should.

Wolfie

The crime is being committed by the GOP.

TREASON is the word we are looking for, if you have proof Democrats are violating the US Constitution please present your proof.

btw: Bush a Republican started the gun running program, but since he is GOP well all is forgiven.

I'm starting to doubt you're even a gun owner. You attack the GOP at every opportunity. You link to articles from the Huffington Post, an ultra liberal news organization. You defend Obama and anti-gun policies. The fact is, the majority of people here don't hold your views. If you truly are a gun owner, I have to question your support of a party that would take your guns if they could. Despite the failures of the GOP on many issues, I don't fear them taking my guns. I don't fear them weakening our military. I don't fear the GOP taxing me into bankruptcy. You need to wake up.

Agreed.

Wolfie

Doubt that I own guns?

Why?

I am not a one issue voter.

The GOP has weakened our military with elective war for 10 years and now wants MORE war with Iran who has double the population of Iraq. Yet you know better.

The GOP took a tax rate that was going to have us debt free in 2012 and changed it and now we are $20 trillion on debt.

But hey, you prefer borrowing and spending so what do I know.

^^^^This!

If you are, in fact, a gun owner I would think the Liberalgunclub.com would be more your speed.

Your bit is comical... and becoming tiresome.

Wolfie

Whats comical?

You prefer one way communication?

Whats that gotten you?

A establishment GOP that does what it wants regardless of what you want.

The GOP front runner Jeb a real liberal and you will vote for him as told.

Patriot

Honestly, I've become a one issue voter.

Gun rights. That's it. I just want to protect my family and myself.

Abortion laws will never be changed. Gays are going to get the right to be married. The tax rates change with the wind. 20% to 30% doesn't make much difference. Foreign policy is a joke for both parties. I did my time in the military so war or no war doesn't affect me much. Things like Obamacare will come and go. Then come back again. Nothing can really be done to change the way politics works.

But I'll say this. The republican party is the party that has stood up for gun rights, been tougher on crime, and passed laws allowing people to defend themselves without fear of being prosecuted (stand your ground, castle doctrine).

Until that changes, the republican candidate will get my vote. The safety of my family is the most important thing I care about.

Republicans are not tougher on crime.

Democratic states have the best Police and Correction Officers. The best city PD, the NYPD All the SP's in the NE are in the top 10 of state agencies. The county PD's of Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester are some of the finest in the nation.

Democrats train and pay for the best law enforcement in the nation. Republicans build PDs like the one on Ferguson.

As for Stand Your ground, only PUNKS shoot the unarmed.
