How old are you really? Because I remember my paychecks being taxed like 30% under Clinton. Almost a third of my check man. Throw in other taxes and the California state income tax I was paying at the time, and half my check went to taxes. Fuck Bill Clinton.

I would never vote for Clinton, and he didn't do anything great anyways, but I do remember $1/gal gasoline. Clinton sunk a few nails in this countries coffin when he allowed China to freely trade with the U.S. He put a lot of people out of business.


Bush's 0% FED loans and tax cuts sank me.

I made less under Clinton, but had more. I made even less under Reagan, and had still more than I had under Clinton.

Yeah Mike, I don't value gun rights. I only own about 8 long guns, 30 handguns and before my kids learn to drive they need to be proficient in a rifle and shotgun. Yes, my kids know how to operate a rifle and shotgun before they get their drivers licenses.

But since I don't approve of mounting a .50 on the roof of my pickup, I don't value gun rights.

How about being able to own or buy new guns or magazines that hold more than 10rnds?  Saying how many guns you own gives you no cred...  being willing to throw others rights away (specifically gun rights) because you don't think they need them is despicable.

Why wouldn't you approve of a M2HB on the roof?  Just your pickup's roof or anyone's pickup?

That's not really a big deal.  It is the responsible thing to do, something many kids can do by age 10.

I'd vote for Jim Webb....but he has little chance of getting the Dem nomination. Their controlling group is more far left. The Rep power brokers are all in for more big government, so their candidate is Jeb. If it's Clinton-Bush as the two to chose from I'll sit this one out for the first time in my adult life.

I don't get it. I keep seeing this from "gun owners." Any vote for any GOP guy, including Jeb Bush, is a vote for gun rights. A non vote is a vote for Hillary. And probably a return to the Clinton gun ban.

I agree with wolfie for once on something political.  Jeb Bush is a liberal but possibly a fiscal conservative. Hell he is getting large donations from pro-choice groups.

That's the thing. Abortion is a dead issue. It's never getting overturned. Gay marriage is probably going to be made legal nationwide by the supreme court. It's a dead issue. The majority of the country support both. Deporting all of these illegals isn't going to happen. There isn't enough money in the budget to handle that case load. Jeb Bush is the type of republican that can get elected in this current America. He supports gun rights, did well with the Florida economy. That might be the best bet right now. A far right candidate will not win right now. Someone in the middle is needed. Jeb Bush is that person.
