Really good deal on these HSM 180gr Gold Dots right now. Hopefully they perform well!

My WA guess is 1100 to 1150 on the Gold Dots.

Intercooler

Yea. It should be the same load as the FMJ on the 180's.

I dug up three new MFG's of 10mm. A couple look promising too.

Edit: Disregard...I just saw the MV on them.  :(

The Buffalo Bore were loaded to much higher numbers than the Barnes and the Barnes Vortex XPB doesn't look like it have the segmenting cuts like their TAC-XP bullets...

Oooo 155gr xpb 10mm!! The xpb .357 was a beast in gel tests ive seen.  Looking forward to seeing someone get that bullet up to 1400fps.  The 155gr tac xp shed all its petals coming out of the mech-tech carbine tests that shootingthebull410 did.

Ignore my last post. Just got off the phone with barnes. They do not make a separate 155gr all copper in the xpb line.  He said originally some boxes were labeled that but they moved it over in the catalog to the tac xp range.  I suggested it would be nice if they also made the 155gr in the stronger design of the xpb and he said he would pass it along.  Operating velocity in their book is 850-1250, he said mayyyybe 1350-1400 but over that and it's shedding petals.

The 200's felt like a stronger load too.

A little low as compared to some offerings in the same bullet weights!  ::)

Yup. I bet the GD still performs fine for SD though.

The_Shadow

Yea the Gold Dot is still inside its performance window!

Thanks. The Gold dots pretty much fell where we expected. As you said, they make a solid self defense load.

The 200 grain load was the more interesting though!
