Same place I bought mine two years ago for $509. Given I see them for sale $600+ this is a steal for $520!

I payed 569.00 from Buds.Yeah they are rising in price.I mentioned my dislike for the plastic grips.Actually after holding my other Witness with the thicker rubber grips, the plastic ones kind of slim the hold more and conform to the Match design.Im likeing it.

I know others disagree but I think the have ruined this gun with the rail.  I don't like.it and I don't see the purpose on what is a target gun.

ah well guess i am an old curmudgeon.

that is a good price.  anyone that wants one should jump on it.

I know the EAA is an option for owning a 10MM, but I must say, because of the mixed reviews, and complaints about customer service issues, have stayed away. $500+ is $500+, and if the rate is 50% running properly, and the chances of being fixed are dismal at best, that's not where I want to put my hard earned money. Just my thoughts.

I hear you alwaysshootin.  I would add though that the Elite guns are a different class of weapons than the standard witness line.  You rarely hear of an Elite Match or Stock having any debilitating issues at all.

I would not buy another standard Witness with the new slide design, but the Elite series carry the old "square" slide are made in Italy, not imported by Tanfoglio from the eastern rim, and are a great value.

I just prefer the positive aspects a firearm has to offer. $500+ is still more than I'm willing to shell out for even a perhaps, maybe. My next 10MM purchase is going to be the Bond Arms. Unless of course either M&P, or XD come out with a 10. I'd feel very comfortable with either of those purchases. Will admit though, if positive feedback, on any particular EAA, becomes prevalent,  probably will have to have one of those also!

My Match and Hunter are two of my best.

Vice

I searched for a Hunter for two years and finally gave up.

Among the many problems EAA has, IMHO is lack of availability.  I had to search for some time for my Witness Elite Match.  I stumbled into my full size in a local shop, and just bought it.

I do like the guns in the Elite series though.

I know I'm a little late to the party here, but this info is good to know. I was thinking of getting a standard. Thank you.

My new Elite Match runs like a champ. My base Compact when purchased was not. However,i wrote to EAA that as a prior owner of a Witness in the 90's that functioned 100%,i know that this gun can work and that i would not object to having the older slide replaced over the new one.It didn't hurt that i used my agency letter head as well.Recieved gun with older slide in (Black) a new and better barrel, and ambo safety.I had to get stronger mag springs to assist in feed issue.Ill give EAA credit on this, they made it better. But i guess it boils down to"You Get What you Pay For".

My full-size had some issues in the first 300 rounds.  Among the changes were increased recoil spring strength (22 lb) and +10% magazine springs.

Since that point the gun has been fully reliable except in the hands of new shooters.  I attribute that to limp wristing, and don't blame the gun.

I can't imagine the challenge of getting one of the small Witness guns in 10mm to run reliably.

Good to hear your new Witness is 100%! Pics?

Top right in this picture.

I will try to get some better pics next time I am at the range with it.  I read somewhere today that natural lighting at the range works best for showing off handguns ;D

Very nice! I was looking for Pacapcop's new double/single Witness Pro.
