The only problemI have with the Mech-tech is that they tend to open too quickly with the hotter 10mm loads. (This is the reason that we fire the 10mm in a Carbine-length barrel, isn't it)?

Nothing personal, but I want my 10mm Carbine to reach "hunting" velocites so that the game will be dropped cleanly, instead of "badly wounded".

Is there a way that this can be addressed?

It's straight blow-back action. If you "fix" higher pressure rounds, you'll "break" lower pressure rounds. It will never be optimal, no matter what you do with it. I almost pulled the trigger, so to speak, on a MT 10mm, until I ran through some testing with my son's .40SW MT. The .40SW MT is essentially an 8#, 27" 10mm auto.
