Hello all. Was shooting with a friend a week ago and he had a Kimber custom match 9mm that he let me shoot and was real nice. So I went looking and found a Kimber target II in 10mm . A steel at 1195.00 there a bouts.  The trigger wasn't as nice as the 9mm but it was nice "out of the box" Does everyone think this is a good Kimber for the price?? I am just not familiar enough with Kimber pricing. Any thoughts??  Thanks   Craig

Thanks for the input. I agree but the pickings are slim around here and it is new and all stainless. Nice looking. I will have to think about this. Craig

Sweet gun, have the Target in 38 Super and 9 mm. Also the Eclipse in 10 mm, same gun.

Here ya go:

$1030 + free shipping.  You will, of course, have your local FFL fees.

I also would not overlook the RIA

$350 less money.  That is a BUNCH of shop work if you feel you need it. And to be honest if stacks up pretty well feature wise to the Kimber.

:D :D  Well I did it. They came down in price and I bought it and will report when it stops snowing enough to shoot it or I go to an indoor range :))  Nice gun though. 10MM will always be my first choice but Kimber does it nice. Nice trigger and all stainless. I will start a new thread when I do a report on it.   Craig

Good luck.

If you have problems with the slide not locking back after the last round. Call Kimber and they will send you a new Slide Stop, that was my main problem.

Thanks for the info. I have a steel Witness that I reload for and I have loaded 300 or so rounds not at max so should be easier on the Kimber. I am not a max reloader anyway as I find rounds do better just under max. I will let you all know how it goes in a few days.  Craig

Well shot the KImber today and had some issues with feeding. I think I was shooting loads that were very hot that I had loaded for my S&W 610 revolver.  I will try something lighter or load something less hot to try.  Nice shooter other than that , very accurate!!! No problems there. Oh yeah I had my holster guy make a kydex holster for it that will do either out side the belt or inside. Worked OK today as I wore it to the range. I will do more testing with the Kimber as I can.  Craig

:)) Well went to the range with re taper crimp rounds and it shot better but I couldn't find the Kimber mag so I used another mag that is really for a 45 but it worked , go figure!!  Shot a bunch of rounds in the Witness and it worked no problem. Oh yeah I am loading stuff in the car after shooting at the range and found the KImber mag in my back pocket.  :o Bout sums me up I am afraid. :'( Anyway it all went better and I will report more as I do more.   Craig

I have a Kimber Stainless Target II.  It has been flawless, but I don't shoot nuclear 10mm loads through it. Functions fine with light to strong loads.

I bought Metalform 10mm magazines. Same as Kimber but much cheaper.

I'm very happy with mine. Best wishes for you.
Late to 10mm but loving it!

:))as with my other post in the reloading section I have found some powderless rounds in my 10mm loads that I tried to shoot today and lodged a bullet in my Witness. Was able to remove it at home but have unloaded 10 rounds that had no powder in them at all. The good news is the Kimber worked great with rounds with powder and shot great as it is now my most accurate gun I feel.  Craig
