I was referring to the Blackhawk in 30 Carbine. I think it's still offered.

Gotcha.  I misstated above.  Meant to say AUTO handgun, like the AMT.

No, too pricey for me but I have a question about the turn line on the 38/40 cylinder. What would make the bolt make the turn line that wide between only two chambers? Also looks like welding splatter at the upper part of the trigger.

Yeah.  Overpriced, overestimated, but interesting.  The trigger does look curious.  Could be grease, lighting and/or repair damage.  The cylinder turn marks are typical for an "abused" Ruger revolver.  The cylinder latch will cause that if it is spun (a lot, like in the movies) and the gate is used to stop it, or the latch spring is fouled/bent.  Unless there's something else wrong, the latch is likely worn out.  The 10mm cylinder has been turned, and looks to have at least a few rounds through it.  It's certainly NOT 98%.

Show me a Ruger that has been used at all and I''ll show you drag marks.  That does not necessarily mean abuse.  They are not designed the same as Colts.

Naturally the Blued guns make it look worse.

I have several revolvers and all have turn lines/ drag marks to varying degrees but they're all pretty much consistent in width.  This example looked like the norm then is twice or more as wide in one area. Perhaps not uncommon but I've not seen that very often.

i recently acquired a buckeye 38-40 10mm.  the finish is ultra nice but the really nice thing is how accurate these things are.   I recently got back into revolvers and had forgotten what a pleasure they are to shoot.   I took it out to the range to adjust the sights.  benched it off of my range bag at 12 yards.  first shot dead center...no big deal.  Next shot dead through the first and the next shot same thing.  I kept turning to my shooting buddy to make sure he was seeing the same thing i was.  My grin kept getting wider.  Now of course i began to loose it as i i was trying to make it happen instead of letting it happen.  next shot a little high to the left about 1/4 to 1/2 inch but the last two clovered.   I wish i could shot like that free hand standing....not only with the buckeye but with the g20.    My teeth are still hurting from the perma grin.   Dam they are nice.   did a poot boy trigger job and the already respectable trigger became uber nice.

I've recently trade for a ruger blackhawk buckeye chambered in the 10mm/38-40 conversion. The looks brand new,no powder, holster,or handling marks at all. Its mint, and has the original black and yellow box. Was kinda wanting to know its value, have talked with other people to gather a ballpark. Thanks

Like new, $650-800.  New, with the box and all original accompanying material, $800-1200.  Used, depends on condition, like any other Ruger.  A matching serial # pair (with the .32HRM/.32-20), $2000+, depending on condition.

well since i was last here i acquired another buckeye.   now that i have gotten into revolvers so much and this gun ban talk i am going to strictly revolvers and lever guns.  I know Don't Flame me but i am tired of the crap and i find that shooting revolvers and lever guns a heck of allot more fun than my semi auto's.  that being said i am going to part with my two ruger buckeyes to afford a couple of gp100's to add to my safe.  I hate to do it as these things are uber sweet but i want to consolidate calibers.

its a sad day in mudville.

Sure is easier to chase the brass flung by a revolver :P
